Positive Sharing

I recently had a very crappy work week. The kind that makes you question your entire path and career decision. In an effort to turn the tide on my feelings, I took a page from The Five-Minute Journal, which I still use from time to time.  Today’s mindfulness exercise is focused on reframing and appreciation. Take a minute at the end of your day and practice positive sharing.

At the end of your work day, tell your spouse, partner, significant other, lover, friend, Facebook (whomever) the best thing that happened that day.  Yes it is that simple share 1 good thing that happened but do it before you vent!

Lead off with a positive, no complaining. Just share the best thing that happened during your day, even if it was simply leaving work.  Reflect on it and dwell on it for a bit. End your day on a positive note.
