{Tips} Easy Halloween Decor

Monday, October 17, 2016
I'm always looking for fun and simple ways to decorate the house for Halloween. Now with a three year old terrorizing the place, I’ve had to get a bit creative and even include him in on the action. This year I went with a classic spooky theme, pumpkins, witches, spiders and ghosts (his favorites). Armed with recycled decorations from previous years and a dollar store budget we really made it work. Both the toddler and I were impressed with the end result.

Start with a simple centerpiece and work your way out.

Don't’ forget the doors.

Banners are an easy add on.

spider and web pillows
Throw some silly pillows on the sofa and ta-dah!

Add a string of lights and some recycled decorations and you have a creepy witchy mantle

Paper bats add a layer of spooky to any wall, just high enough to avoid little hands.

Continued the bat theme in the bathroom with vinyl on the mirror & added seasonal towels.
