5K Countdown

An old workout buddy (and friend) moved back in town and she invited me to run 5K in 2.5 weeks. Clearly I have been so busy with work I haven’t been to the gym in months, but against my better judgment I said yes. Aside from being an opportunity to run with an old friend, it has proven to be just enough motivation to get my butt back onto the workout scene.  With all the changes going on in my world why not go running and have some fun?

Diet and nutrition are going to be a bit tricky since I’m in an active Colitis flare but I am determined to not pass out during this race. Over the new two weeks I plan to blog about my prep from food and outfits to my favorite workout playlist.  Wish me luck friends as my countdown to race day begins!
