{Crafts} DIY Office Magnets

Wednesday, May 13, 2015
I recently took a new job and needed message magnets that let my team know where I was during the day.  I don’t have a message board on my office door and wanted a way to let people know when to knock or if I wasn’t available. I decided doorframe magnets were the way to go but I couldn’t find any that I really liked or could customize.  After exhausting my search efforts, I pulled a craft rabbit out of hat and just made my own! Check out how…

  1. Select your messages, font, and images you want to use. I went with a simple but fun font and chose basic Microsoft office symbols that fit my out-of-office messages.

  4. Laminate using the business card laminating pouches and a laminating machine.  You could also use self-sealing ouches if you don’t have access to a laminator.

The finished product came out great!  I had fun making these and even customized a few based on my favorite quotes or phrases.  Simple, informative, easy, and they look great in my office!   A fun and fully functional office craft!
