Super Bowl XLIX {Snack Fest}

Sunday, February 1, 2015
We came, we watched, and we snacked! Super Bowl XLIX just happened and we decided to keep it simple.  We were a party of three with no team in this fight so we did what anybody else would do and just ate until we were so full it hurt!  We had chili, spinach artichoke dip, and I even pulled out the panini press for good measure.

Of course I wish the Saints were playing but they weren’t so for tonight I was Seahawks fan, which proved to be just as heart breaking.  The game did have some crazy moments but all in all, the commercials and Missy Elliot stole the show. Now all I have are emotional memories and visions of Katy Perry riding a robotic lion to keep me warm until football season returns, only 221 days and counting…

This time last year we were hosting our Super BowlHousewarming party, and this was nice break from planning but I’m thinking next year we should host another Superbowl shindig.  I plan to rock my Saints gear no matter what teams are playing next year! #WHODATNATION
