Thanksgiving Sides {recipes}

Every Thanksgiving (until my mother lets go of the hosting reigns) I’m responsible for bringing several dishes, mostly vegetarian for the husband. We have a pretty traditional spread ham, turkey, mac & cheese, cornbread dressing. But we also have our regional favorites like gumbo, seafood stuffing, and buttermilk pie (don’t knock it until you try it). 

Most of the time I play sous-chef and help my mom prep but I also have to bring my own dishes to dinner. This year I’m bringing two of my favorites, baked ziti and banana pudding (non-vegetarian)! Sharing the recipes I use, for those of you still trying to figure out a holiday menu.
