Photo Guest Book {Baby Shower}

Tuesday, April 30, 2013
Looking for a fun keepsake idea for a baby shower? Why not a photo guestbook. I recently created one for a BaBy Q shower.  It was such a hit that I decided to share!

Materials:

Instructions/Steps:
  1. Purchase the blank book of your choice. I went with a actually book because I was designing the cover art by hand. If you aren’t an artist you can print photos (but a more traditional photo album with an insert cover). You could also use scrapbook stickers or other tools to decorate the book cover.
supplies: blank book, stickers, markers, cardstock
  1. Decorate the cover based on your theme. Since we were in a park and had a pink, white, and green color scheme I decorated accordingly.

    We were at a park so I added art that represented location and colors!
  2.  Buy a Polaroid camera and film (Target sells film and cameras).

    Film is $11 (10 pictures) / Camera $69.99

  3. Set up your photo station, with instruction signage. I put instructions in a simple frame to have on site.

  4. Provide glue or easy to use adhesive so people can affix the image how they want (I used double sided tape).
  5. Provide sharpies (permanent ink pens) so people can write messages and sign their names.
  6. Provide props, borders, and other accents if you or guests want to add flair to their picture.

This is a great gift (and fun activity) for baby showers or weddings.  You can even have guests write their favorite memories or provide them with a theme for their messages and well wishes!

  1. Hey! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering
    which blog platform are you using for this site? I'm getting sick and tired of Wordpress because I've had issues with hackers and I'm looking at options for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
